Vintage Notes
Destined to be a classic, this 2007 Carneros Pinot Noir exhibits aromas of dried cherries, cedar and traces of dried tobacco. As the wine opens in the glass, underlying notes of vanilla bean and the fresh scent of a strawberry patch on a warm spring afternoon become evident.
Tasting Notes
The 2007 Carneros Pinot Noir exhibits delicate aromas of lavender, juniper and red cherry along with hints of sweet brown spice and sage. The striking ruby color foreshadows the rich flavors of boysenberry, black raspberry and red cherry. The concentration of the 2007 vintage is evident with the vanilla spice, pomegranate and mineral characters in the finish. The roundness in the mid-palate and well integrated tannins should allow this wine to age with elegance.
